Let me introduce myself: I am Marni Sugerman and I have always had a passion for beautiful interiors. It’s no surprise because it is in my genes. I grew up visiting my grandfather’s furniture showrooms, and listening to stories of market trips and new furniture introductions. Excellent quality and fabulous design have always been a fascination of mine and something I have always aspired to achieve.
Fast forward, I now have a beautiful family with a wonderful husband and two amazing daughters. We live in Riverdale, NY. When my girls were young, I worked both as a graphic designer and as an art teacher in the non-profit sector. Besides affording me great flexibility to raise my daughters, it allowed me to encounter new areas of design while becoming a part of a community filled with warmth and supportive friendships. It is with these strengths that I moved forward to my new enterprise.
It is my current endeavor that I am enjoying most. My decision over five years ago to return to the design industry as an interior decorator proudly owning a Decorating Den franchise has been a great one. Decorating Den Interiors affords me a ton of business support, a vast network of like-minded professionals and access to an extensive array of home furnishings products. My latest success has earned me several design awards and well as forging personal relationships with many clients whom I adore.
My clients enjoy our collaborative design process and down to earth approach as we work together to fulfill and exceed their expectations. They appreciate that their home will look exclusive and different, designed for their families, lifestyles and style.
